About Me:

Cece smiling after weeding a garden, surrounded by plants and trees in West Sonoma County.

Rooted in Sonoma County for 4 generations, I am proud to call this beautiful place home. Having just spent 4 years living solo off-the-grid in the Cazadero mountains, you could say I’m no stranger to the wilderness. I love a good challenge and approach life with an open mind and a grounded heart. If you can’t find me in the garden, you can find me playing piano, reading a book, swimming in the river or singing karaoke in town. I speak Spanish, German, some Brazilian Portuguese, and love learning languages. Fun Fact: I have never owned an automatic. All my vehicles have been manuals. Love a good gear shift!

I’ve honed my carpentry skills building small projects throughout the years including my own tiny home (still in-progress). I have plenty of tools I can bring to help with woodworking or other simple projects. I’m currently taking a welding class to gain experience with metalworking. I’ve also been studying electronic construction – soldering circuit boards, making ethernet and audio cables, building a power box, etc. to improve my hands-on technical skills. Though I do have basic electrical experience from setting up my own off-grid solar power system I am not offering any electrical services at this time.

I am knowledgeable about plants & soil and enjoy spending time outside even though I sunburn easily. Expect to see me in a hat if it’s sunny out. I’m hardworking, respectful, and thorough with my work; integrity is very important to me. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance – I’d be happy to help!

Looking for native plants?

One of the Bay Area’s oldest California native plant nurseries, Cal Flora Nursery in Fulton is one of my favorite places in Sonoma County. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and it is a very peaceful place to find plants and inspiration for your garden.
